LWVDDH VOTE BANNER LWV was launched from the suffrage movement that ensured women the right to vote with the 19th amendment. As a non-partisan political organization, we do NOT endorse parties or candidates. We DO take carefully studied positions on important issues.

Our right to vote is exercised best when we understand the issues and know where politicians stand on those issues. Democracy works best with active and informed participation of citizens influencing government. Our primary roles are Voter Education and Advocacy.

Who should join?

Men and women of any heritage, viewpoint, status or experience. All members are welcome to attend meetings, workshops and forums, and are encouraged to participate and benefit from active membership.
